​In the Thriller genre, fear lives in the gap between two people.
​In Session 3 of Acting for Film, Orr and Gabriel gave us a masterclass in Contrast.
We had one character vibrating with frantic, high-stakes energyβ€”pacing, panicking, filling the room with noise.
And then we had the other… absolutely, terrifyingly still.
​When you put those two energies in a cage together, the tension goes through the roof. The audience is left wondering: Why is he so calm? What does he know that the other one doesn’t?
​Orr and Gabriel, you navigated that dynamic perfectly. You showed us that sometimes, the person doing the least physically is the one holding the most power in the scene.
​A chilling performance.
​And a huge thank you to Guy and Champ for framing that contrast so effectively. The way you held the shot on the stillness made it even scarier. πŸŽ₯✨
