People always ask: “What’s acting really about?”
Is it about pretending? Wearing costumes? Memorizing lines?
Nope. Acting is about being.
Being present. Being truthful. Being alive in the moment.
It’s the one place where you can cry over a broken heart at 2pm… and then die dramatically at 2:15… and no one calls a therapist.
Acting gives us permission to explore every corner of being human — the messy, the beautiful, the hilarious, the tragic. It’s not about faking life… it’s about magnifying it.
So remember: Acting is not “to act.”
Acting is to be.
