Let’s welcome June with a brand-new series!

To kick off the new month, we are doing something a little different here at the studio. We are launching a fun new weekly series: Our Dogs as Iconic Characters of Cinema and Theatre!
We’ll dive into the history of these legendary figures, satisfying our curiosity and exploring what makes them such staples of the acting world.
To start us off, we are heading straight into the action with the ultimate symbols of loyalty, bravery, and stage combat: The Three Musketeers!

A little studio trivia for your week:
Did you know that “The Three Musketeers” has been adapted for the screen over 100 times since the silent film era? It is an absolute cornerstone of the swashbuckling genre. For an actor, playing a Musketeer is the ultimate test of physical storytelling and stage combat. From Gene Kelly’s incredibly acrobatic sword fights in the 1948 classic to modern action blockbusters, these roles require actors to be entirely grounded in their bodies while moving at lightning speed.
Also, the ultimate irony of the famous title? The story is actually driven by the fourth hero—the young, ambitious d’Artagnan, who has to prove his worth to the legendary trio of Athos, Porthos, and Aramis.
It’s the perfect reminder for us on the studio floor: acting is a team sport. You always have to have your scene partner’s back!
