After all the nervous pacing, the clashing egos, the bizarre warm-ups, and the intense preparation to impress the legendary acting coach, Voss… what happens?
He doesn’t show up.
Putting this entire ensemble of highly-strung, incredibly specific characters into one room and pulling the rug out from under them was a director’s dream. Watching all of youβNyo, Jalisse, Reef, Gracie, Emily, Phil, Christian, and Orrβnavigate the confusion, the anticlimax, and the sheer absurdity of the situation was a masterclass in ensemble comedy.
When actors truly listen and react to each other, the script comes alive. The chaotic energy in that room when everyone realized they were abandoned was pure, unscripted gold.
