In the “real world,” we are taught to cover up our wounds. We hide our insecurities, mask our weaknesses, and try to present a polished, “perfect” version of ourselves to the world.
In this craft, your scars aren’t obstacles—they are your instruments. 🎻
When you stop trying to be “strong” and instead embrace your vulnerabilities, your fears, and your “imperfections,” you find a frequency that is uniquely yours. You stop acting, and you start resonating. The audience doesn’t want to see a perfect person; they want to see a human soul that mirrors their own.
We saw this beautifully illustrated at our recent showcase. In this video, one of my students created an incredibly impactful piece of art.
She didn’t just perform; she shared a piece of their spirit. And quite literally, she added glitter to all of our lives—shaking up the room and leaving a sparkle on everyone who was lucky enough to see it live. It was a reminder that when we have the courage to show our “messy” truth, we create something vibrant and unforgettable.
Don’t hide the cracks in your foundation. That’s how the light (and the glitter) gets in. 🎬💖
